Kimberly,
To set JFW to go mute while using Wordpad, you can open config manager while
in Wordpad. This is so you will be changing configurations only for
Wordpad. Hit alt+s and arrow to the advance menu and hit enter. The first
box should be the sleep option. Hit space-bar to check it. Hit OK and
control+s to save.
Now JFW will go silent every time you open Wordpad, however, if you alt+tab
away from it, JFW wil resume talking. If you go back to Wordpad, silence.
A word of warning, silence means total silence. You get no speach at all
while using this Wordpad not even in the menus. Is this what you want?

I would think that insert plus f4 would accomplish that. Now here's a
situation where you can use that keystroke that we bantered about for the
past few days! Judith
