Mozilla and JAWS

I just resubscribe to this list after a long time of being off. Please
forgive me if this has been covered. On my Windows XP Home PC I have JAWS
4.51.131, Mozilla FireFox0.8 and Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5 for testing. Is it
possible to make these apps work better with JAWS? The pull down menus seem
to work fine.
