Hi,
Also please note that when using windows explorer under the edit menu there
is both a selection for copy to folder and move to folder options.

Using the control + x command will just put the file on the clipboard until
you paste it somewhere. Then it will remove it from where it originally was.

Both ways work. Just what the user feels comfortable with.

The keystroke of control + shift + v seems to only work in OE and probably
works in outlook too.

Rich

  p.S.

John, I'm sorry. Woke up late and haven't had enough coffee. The
keystroke
I gave is indeed the one you're trying to remember. But if it works in
Windows Explorer, then that'll be a surprise to me. Of course Control X
is
how you move selected files and folders there. Sorry. Wasn't thinking
  clearly.

  Hello,

Someone posted a message with a keystroke to move files or folders and I
have lost the email. Can someone tell me what the keystroke was?

  Take care,

  John
