Hi, do you have to have a packmate to use this? Thanks.

              Hi,

On the Freedom Scientific web site under Pac Mate section is a free download
titled PMCheckbook that one can use to enter and balance a checking account.
It is designed to use with Excel and you can even expand it using certain Excel
functions.

MoneyTalks is a wonderful program that you might want to consider. It is
available from the American Printing House for the Blind (APH). I think the
program cost around $70, but could be wrong about that. There is of course a
bit of learning involved, but the program is definitely not complicated.
MoneyTalks can be used by both you and your husband. Contact information
follows.

American Printing House for the Blind (APH)

  Hope this helps.

I'd still take a look at quickbooks online edition.
It imports with bank accounts, and allows you to enter and balance everything
as it comes in, and goes out.

Personal. the idea is to use a program that auto imports information from the
bank if at all possible.

    Hello:

My husband (sighted) and I need to have access to the same financial
program. Any recommendations? I don't need every detail to work with Jaws but I
do need to be able to enter deposits, expenditures, and generally balance the
account. Please let me know what others are using! His Favorite is Quick books,
and Quicken.

    Jennifer
