Hi, there are scripts for miranda that will read your msn messages. =
Miranda
is not a good client for irc mirc is much better for irc at this point =
this
might change in the next relece. So get mirc for irc and get the =
scripts
for miranda to do your msn messages. Hth=20

Subject: Miranda query

I didn't think it would take me long to come up with another question =
for
the group.

I have taken many people's advice, and installed Miranda. I find it to =
be
pretty good, albeit a few things. I think there needs to be an IRC =
Private
Message sound event, so I will know when someone sends a PM while I'm on
IRC. well, actually, there is a sound of sorts. The default sound, =
which
is a ding for me, will indicate a PM, but I'd like to set another, more
realistic sound. Anyone know how to accomplish this, since there isn't =
an
IRC Private Message sound event under the sounds category? Now, here's
another question. I'm one of those sticklers about JAWS reading =
incoming
messages. JAWS currently doesn't read incoming and outgoing messages =
for
IRC, or MSN messages, which are the two I'm currently using in Miranda. =
How
can I go about fixing this, or must I always route jaws to PC. If I'm on
IRC, and am in a very active channel, or am playing a game with other =
users,
I will most certainly want to hear all that is going on. How bout if =
I'm in
multiple channels. Sure I hear the sound I have set for when a message =
comes
in, but then one must go find which channel that sound came from. =
Tedious
really. Is there any solution? Thanks
