Well, just to add a bit to this, when you install xp you get windows
messenger, which in a lot of respects works off the same principle as msn,
because it works on the same network and does the same thing. However, msn
messenger has some different functionality not found in windows messenger,
but for a completely blind person, these features won't matter much as they
have to do with the presentation of the message window. Now if you're a low
vision person with some color perception, you may like the new
features. The bottom line is this. If you have windows 98, or windows me
and you have JAWS 5.00.844 installed on your machine, stay with msn
messenger 5.0 for now. However, if you have windows xp or 2000 and wish to
upgrade to msn messenger 6.1, you can do so and have no problems.
