That's for composition, not for reading, and it's still using Word as the editor, not a separate editor. The original message is talking about reading messages, not composing.

Isn't there a way to do that in Outlook 2007? Just curious. Tom----- Original Message ----- From: CarolineTo: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 5:08 AM Subject: Re: Messages with irregular tables in Outlook 2007 This isn't a Freedom Scientific issue. And, unless things have changed recently, there aren't any screen-readers that can handle these irregulartables, and it really is a major problem. It's something that I've been toldMicrosoft will have to address. I believe that part of the problem is that with Outlook 2007, Word is now the editor for composing new messages, and also for viewing messages. Now I find that many messagesI get from companies such as Amazon and Tesco cannot be read by Jaws (including the latest version) unless I turn off table recognition. The messages all seem to be html with irregular tables. Even then I cannotnavigate successfully through the message so I can no longer pick out linksto special offers. The quick navigation keys no longer work either and I get an error message from JFW to this effect. This would seem to suggest that it is a known issue to Freedom Scientific. If I activate a link to display these messages in a browser then I can read and navigate them fine in Internet Explorer 7. It is very frustrating. Does anyone share this problem or know why this should be?
