Ok, but does anyone know how I can get JAWS 10 to read all of the messages for me, automatically? I know I could just close the message and open the next one, but this is sure time consuming. Please advise. Like Windows Live Mail but am always looking for alternatives in case the one I use breaks. Thanks!

Pat, you did it! I just forwarded myself a PayPal message to one of my outlook accounts, and made sure that it wasn't reading with the standard view. I then went into Tools, Trust Center, and then to the Email Security tab. I located the read all Messages in plain text check box and checked it. I opened the message again and it read beautifully. The best part though is that it still shows the links as links. and they can be brought up in the standard JAWS links list even though the message itself is showing as plain text. This is exactly what I've been wanting to do since I switched to Outlook 2007. Thanks so much for this!!!Caroline----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat L" <PatWJL@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 8:05 PM Subject: RE: Messages with irregular tables in Outlook 2007Try Tools > Trust Center . There's a "e-Mail Security" tab with a checkboxsomething like "Read messages in plain text". You're absolutely right. I can find no way to have messages automatically converted to plain text when reading. Drat!Never noticed that I lost this when moving to Outlook 2007. Isn't there a way to do that inOutlook 2007? Just curious. Tom----- Original Message ----- From: CarolineTo: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 5:08 AM Subject: Re: Messages with irregular tables in Outlook 2007 This isn't a Freedom Scientific issue. And, unless things have changedrecently, there aren't any screen-readers that can handle these irregulartables, and it really is a major problem. It's something that I've been toldMicrosoft will have to address. I believe that part of the problem is that with Outlook 2007, Word is now the editor for composing new messages, andalso for viewing messages. Now I find that many messages I get from companies such as Amazon and Tesco cannot be read by Jaws (including the latest version) unless I turn off table recognition. The messages all seem to be html with irregular tables. Even then I cannot navigate successfully through the message so I can no longer pick out links to special offers. The quick navigation keys no longer work either and I get an error message from JFW to this effect. This would seem to suggest that it is a known issue to Freedom Scientific. If I activate a link to display these messages in a browser then I canread and navigate them fine in Internet Explorer 7.It is very frustrating. Does anyone share this problem or know why thisshould be?
