it sounds like you have the preview pane checked,
I know you have been told to close it,
i have several email addresses,
some i have it closed and some I have it checked
one advantage of having it checked,
when you open your email
in outlook express,
as you down arrow thru the folder list,
if you tab into the email it will start reading it, without opening it,
as long as,
in folder options,
you uncheckread messages
then you can either shift tab or tab twice, back to the folder list
as long as you have closed the address book as suggested by this list,
to increase security of outlook express,

Subject: Messages open without pressing enter

Hello list friends,
When I go through Outlook Express message list arrowing up and down,
unexpectedly most of the messages get open, without having pressed "Enter"
at them at all. This problem has occurred quite recently to me, and it is
giving me a hard time.
Has anybody faced this kind of problem before. I really look forward to your
advice.

Regards,
Gezim
