  Hi Roy,

with jaws 9 I cannot find any jfwstop. This is just out of curiousity, I
don't need it at the moment, but does it still exist?

this depends on what operating system you are using.
I will describe the process for windows vista first and then the one for
windows xp. The one for xp is a little more complicated.

in windows vista JAWS > options > basics
    Automatically start jaws button.

Check the start JAWS at the logon screen check box.

Log in as the sighted user and go to the Start JAWS options screen again.
Under the Start JAWS for this user combo box choose never.

Log in as the blind user. On the start JAWS options screen under the
Automatically start JAWS for this user combo box select always.

For xp refer to this article from Freedom scientific.
    http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_support/BulletinView.asp?QC=772

Check start JAWS automatically under JAWS > options > basics.
then place a link to Jstop.exe in the startup group for the sighted person.
    hope this helps

There are two persons using my computer. Can someone tell me the
procedure, or can I make jaws load automatically for the blind person and turn
it on for the sighted person, as needed, with alt-control-J? The computer is
setup for two users.
