I use another method, just don't give anyone my windows messenger ID except 
a select chosen few I either don't mind talking to now and then or that I 
know won't ever bother me and that helps me too, I don't mind if it's there 
all the time that way, people can just get me on AIM if they want to bother 
me  lol
