I never turn Flash off permanently with either the Configuration Manager or in
JFW 12 with the Settings Center. There are some sites where Flash content is
desirable. On those sites where Flash is not useful, I use Shift+Insert+v to
turn off Flash on just those web sites.

Subject: Looking for web site navigation tips

Hi, I'm using JAWS 12 with XP and the current Internet Explorer and I have
been experimenting with both Flash and Forms modes on certain web sites.
It seems navigation is more responsive on the sites in question with these
two attributes turned off. I can control this with Insert V and the
appropriate toggle but if I wanted to make a permanent adjustment to a web
site, how would I accomplish this?
Also, what might I miss on a site if Flash is disabled?
  Lastly, does youtube use Flash?
You would be amazed at what I do not know ... or maybe not. :-) Thanks,
Mitch
