Live messanger help

Hi all!
Is anyone here using jaws 9 and live messenger? If so, could I get a bit of
help?
While in a conversation and you missed the last thing or previous thing said
is there a command to let you read the previous said. Also if on line with
messenger and a contact tries to start conversation but you are in different
app how do you respond?
new to all this. Any and help greatly appreciated.
