I addressed this a couple of days ago. But I thought I perhaps should clarify some things. As I've said, I knew absolutely _nothing about the computer when I got one and had someone set it up and install Jaws. For the first while I studied the Jaws 3.5 tutorial tapes. From that I learned the basics of Windows as well as how to use it with Jaws. After I got online, I learned about Cathy Ann's tutorials and the Access Technology Institute where I purchased her Windows tutorial on disk. By that time I knew what to do with a disk. It has been invaluable. I'm afraid I don't have much that's positive to say about computer classes for blind users, by Rehab, and the nearby organization here that has computer classes. More often than not, the would-be teachers of these classes don't know enough about their subject to help us much. And it wasn't very long after I had been studying the above mentioned tutorials, that I felt more proficient than some I knew.
