Hi,
I've found that at times, when you change from desktop to the new laptop
mode, not all key strokes carry over. I've found this to be true with Skype,
if I remember the hotkey used I just choose actions, then add. Otherwise, I
just pick one, and add that choice. Sorry I can't think of an example off
the top of my head.

Why is this simply selecting lap top mode should do it or setting the
jaws key as the caps lock if you want to use the desktop layout. No
need to change any thing here but the default configuration.
Please explain why would you need to change it in all configurations.

The caps lock key is the Jaws key. You also have to go into all the
configuration managers to make changes.

I have a older Laptop and have been using a external keyboard with it,
now I need to start using the computer key board. What is the key used
on the lap top for the JFW key? Is there a list of short cut keys for
the laptop in JAWS on the computer?
