Hi Golden, I hope someone who can explain this thoroughly will respond to your question. I just followed other peoples' directions to set up this hotkeyfor unloading Jaws cleanly when it's gone silent because of a conflict withsome other program or a glitch of its own. Then you can launch it againwithout having had to restart your computer unnecessarily, and you can readerror messages that may be appearing on screen but you couldn't read or respond to without Jaws. The dump thing I think is about it creating a report called a dump that you can send to FS tech support, and then they look at it and see what happenedwhen Jaws stopped speaking and it helps them diagnose the cause of the event. That's as close as I can come. As I said, I hope someone more knowledgeablewill chime in. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
