Hi Louis,
If you are trying to back up the entire drive,
including the operating system, it won't work.
You cannot backup system files that are in use by the operating system.
The idea behind the replicator, is to backup your data files.

Subject: Karen's replicator and backing up C drive

Hi List,
I am running JFW 7.0 Windows XP home and am using Karen's Replicator from
the JFW lite home page. I am trying to backup my entire C drive to an
external F drive. Have any of you had luck doing this? I have tried
several times with the program backing up files for about 15 minutes, then
the computer just completely powers off and shuts down. (very scary) Then
it takes me 10 to 15 times of pushing the power button, (fan comes onn 3
seconds later the PC powers off) before the machine completely loads
up. Last time this occurred it was a mother board problem. But please let
me know if Karen's Replicator can copy the entire C drive to another
drive. Much thanks.

Louis
