See, that's the problem with us blind ppl. Just wait, be a bit patient, and relax! Hell, keyboards will be here for a long time. This would even effect sighted secutarries etc who used a keyboard. It's just total non-sense to think that the keyboard will be wiped out with the new evolution of touch screen. That's ridiculous! BTw, as expressed in earlier posts, this will be an option. And, if this was gonna happen, Freedom scientific, GW micro, dolphin, serotek etc all work with microsoft. Do you guys realise how much bitching and moaning would take place between AT companies etc? 
Anyway, just my two british pouns worth lol.

I watched an interview with Bill gates and Steve ? the CEO of Microsoft on
CNBC and according to the interview in the future there will be no more
keyboard andno more mouse.  I am sure that accessibilities will be
considered.  Believe me I think it is a ways away but I think we are
evolving to an operating system that might and I mean might be seamless for everyone. A few months ago I remember Bill Gatesstating that allbooks will be available on web. It is just a matter of time once the copyright issues 
are worked out.  Pretty soon I think information will be available to all
regardless of modality.  Let's hope so.  Imagine no added costs for
accessibility.  Cheers in advance.

So, does this mean that you believe the person you replied to is spreading 
eisinformation about the future of Windows in order to turn some of us
toward considering a Mac or a Linux computer? That's the sense I get from
the Wikipedia explanation, that it means to spread negative rumors about a 
product in order to turn potential customers off to it and propel them
toward the product made by the company tha'ts disseminating the FUD.

Or is it now sometimes used more casually, so that there doesn't have to

be

a real or implied motive behind it in that sense if you just want to

invoke

the expression in a more general way, for effect?
