Johnny,
I really appreciate your responts. However, When I set the screen echo
to none, jaws says nothing. So, how do I find out what the code is? You
may write me off list if necessary.I really want to stop this its been
going on for some time.
Thanks again,
Carliss

this is a universal issue. Jaws is catching the code for the button and
calling it out as b and c respectively. There are two ways to prevent
it,
temporarily set your scren echo to none and find out what the code of
the
buttons are and add them to the dictionary as silent. Another idea
might be
to figure out where on the screen the meter is showing up and write a
frame
around it and trigger silence when it shows up.

Hello listers,
I am having a problem that even FS says They can't help me with.
When I press the volume up button jaws says, B, and when I volume down,
jaws says, C. If I use the pass key through command, jaws says nothing.
Does anyone have am idea what is going on? And how to stop it?
This is happening on all the keyboards that have volume up and down
keys.
When I am on the net, I have to turn off virtual viewer to get the
volume buttons to work at all.I forget the message that jaws gives when
I press the volume buttons.
Thanks, I'll be listening for your guys and girls help.
Carliss
