Use insert 4 (on number row) to open the Symbol and select the fractions
from there.

Hi,
Maybe if you went into the pronunciation dictionary and changed
the pronunciation of 1/2 to "and a half" or "one half." Jaws seems to
be clever enough to pick up on when to use that, and not say it in
part of a date, like 1/2/09.
