Jaws reading outside current window

Hi Friends,
I'm using Jaws 7 &  Windows XP Pro home. When I open up a new window or, alt 
tab from one window to another Jaws wants to read what was on the window I was 
in last, not all of the previous window, but about 6 to 8 seconds of it. If 
when I start up my computer and Out Look Express is the first thing I open I 
hear a portion of my address book before I hear what's in my In Box. I know 
there's   a setting I don't have right but I'm not sure which one it is or 
where I need to go to correct the setting. If anybody knows why this is 
happening I'd appreciate any help you could offer.
