Jaws not reading?

Listers,
I don't really understand this problem?
I am using jaws6.20, and it will not read the all program's menu.
Also, when I do windows key M, to get to the desktop, and tab to taskbar,
jaws says, "zero percent." I don't have any idea what that means.
If anyone got any ideas, because I surely don't, please let me know, will
ya? This is really crazy!
by the way, befor you ask, I did go and check the displays, and all is well.
Oh, well, I'll be listening.
