RE: Jaws authorization disk

Hello Troy.

The CD that came with version 6.0 of Jaws for Windows only contains your 20
digit authorization number. You will still need to activate Jaws either by
connecting your computer to the Internet or obtaining the activation code by
using a computer that is already connected to the Internet. You can find
all this information in the Jaws help system.

I hope this helps.

Chris.

Hi Chris,
If it came in the Jaws 6 package then I've still got it, I just need to find
my Jaws 6. Smile.

Hi Troy

You can call FS on the phone and they will help you activate manually.
If you have an earlier version of JAWS, mainly 6.0, it included an
authorization CD which, as the name suggests, authorized JAWS
automatically. But it looks as if you don't have one of those, so
calling FS is probably your best bet right now.

Good luck.
