Speaking only for myself, sorry. I didn't imagine you were talking about a
CD to be played on something nonstandard. I thought you meant on a regular
CD player of some sort. Also, I never heard of anyone copying an Audible
program to CD except by using a special method Audible provides. I thought
that was necessary. I thought an Audible program could not be treated as if
it were an ordinary mp3 file, because of digital rights management encoding
that Audible had its own proprietary method for enabling this, just as they
do for playing something on Audible Manager or copying it to a digital
player. If you transfer an Audible program to an mp3 player, than look at
the file in Windows Explorer on the drive that represents the player when
it's connected, you'll see two, not one, files. both of which I thought have
to be present for the file to be playable. And I assumed there were similar
constraints at work when you transferred/burned a program to a CD.

So, sorry. Don't have anything else helpful to say myself.

Sorry for not responding to all of you sooner. We've had a busy weekend.
I have audible manager working.
My problem is probably two fold.
I can burn the CD with Nero but the quality is really crummy and has
lots of noise with it.
I also did not know what device to choose.
What I wanted to do is download the books, burn them to CD and play
in my daisy player. I just am confused about settings and getting
better quality.
I've been through many of the help sections but am still having trouble.
A friend tried on her computer with i tunes and was able to do it for
me just fine with one book but I would like to do it myself of course.
Thanks.
Lovette
