Hi Robert. I'm curious how you came to try changing horizontal carat dimension in cursor options to fix focus issues. There are a lot of variables in that dialog.

Changing the horizontal carat dimension solved the focus problem for me--may not work in every case but a simple thing to try--about 30 seconds.
