Jaws and Java

Hi All,

How does Jaws work with java applications?
Does it work in the same way as in windows application?

I am using Jaws 6.0 and Windows XP professional as my Operating system. The
problem I am facing is that Jaws does not work properly with the Access keys
assigned to different controls of the application. When I use the access
keys, the focus moves to the menubar.

Any help with this regards is highly appreciated.
