your folder of downloads are not temp files and will not be affected by
cleanup
the first time you run cleanup,
it will take a lot longer to run, be patient
when it finishes
do not press yes on log off
tab to no,
spacebar the no button,
route jaws to pc,
press page down then up arrow
to hear, how much space is recovered from how many files
then restart your computer
you are correct about it deleting your cookies and most of temporary files,
but not all of them,
and you will have to sign in, again to reestablish
those sign in's,
if you don't know how to back up your hard drive
or, can,
do you know how to make a restore point??
if you do, make one, then, run cleanup
that way if you don't like the cleaned up hard drive it will restored to
what it was before you ran cleanup
recently i learned in xp,
about a folder in windows called prefetch,
which are more temp files that can be safely deleted
that are not, touched by cleanup
or any other deletion
I also run disk clean up
from the properties
of the hard drive first before running cleanup,

I have downloaded cleanup 3.1.2 and wish to use it, but am a little
concerned about the following below information from the web site. First of
all, it is suggested that I make a back up of my hard disk. I have no idea
how to do this. I have something like 22 gigs of stuff on my computer with
around 3.5 gigs of free space. Where would I back this material up to, and,
in detail, how do I do it, you know which JAWS keystrokes, etc.??
Also, I have a folder that I have made called downloads. I download anything
that I want to keep into this file. I am assuming that this file will be
left untouched, but is this correct?
Also, about cookies, I would love to get rid of most of them, but there are
three or four web sites which I stay logged into, and I like being able to
just go to the site without having to log in. Cleaning out all my cookies
would mean that I would have to re-log into these sites, correct?

any of these places, then note that they will be deleted when CleanUp! is

folders or the Recycle Bin to store files you intend to keep.
