Hi all,
I have downloaded cleanup 3.1.2 and wish to use it, but am a little
concerned about the following below information from the web site. First of
all, it is suggested that I make a back up of my hard disk. I have no idea
how to do this. I have something like 22 gigs of stuff on my computer with
around 3.5 gigs of free space. Where would I back this material up to, and,
in detail, how do I do it, you know which JAWS keystrokes, etc.??

Also, I have a folder that I have made called downloads. I download anything
that I want to keep into this file. I am assuming that this file will be
left untouched, but is this correct?

Also, about cookies, I would love to get rid of most of them, but there are
three or four web sites which I stay logged into, and I like being able to
just go to the site without having to log in. Cleaning out all my cookies
would mean that I would have to re-log into these sites, correct?

Well, I think that's all, and I look forward to all the help you can give
me. Smile.

TerriLynne

CleanUp! 3.1
Installation Instructions
Before installing CleanUp!, please take the time to read the following:
. Please make a backup of your hard disk before running CleanUp! for the
first time. While every attempt has been made to ensure that CleanUp! is
bug-free, due to the number of different hardware and software
configurations around today, it is impossible to guarantee that it will
perform error-free on your particular system. As a result, it is strongly
recommended that you make a backup of all important files before running
CleanUp! for the first time, or before trying an upgraded version of
CleanUp!. ...
For example, CleanUp! attempts to delete files from various temporary
directories (including download directories/caches), as well as emptying the
Recycle Bins. If you make a habit of saving files that you wish to keep in
any of these places, then note that they will be deleted when CleanUp! is
run. Note that it is generally considered poor practice to use temporary
folders or the Recycle Bin to store files you intend to keep.
