Have you gone through the Jaws help and re-applied the Jaws optimization
settings for your operating system?

Subject: Jaws 9 reading problems on laptop
Hello All,
Earlier this week I had my Dell laptop restored to factory settings by
my
tech, not Dell, and I don't know what difference that makes, but I've
noticed that since I've reinstalled Jaws 9 that when I go to the Jaws
cursor
to read anything it won't read the majority of the time, even things it
normally does read. In most cases reading with the pc cursor is fine.
When
I'm right arrowing reading tabs though it won't read the name of the tab
either in the Jaws cursor or the pc cursor, all it says is tab. Does
anybody have any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks.
Troy
