Hi Bruce,

Well, for what it is worth, I learned from several reliable sources that the Google petition was one of the factors that eventually got the audio CAPTCHA put in place and an overall more active approach to accessibility issues on the company's part.

Online petitions don't take long to complete, and, at a minimum, they show everyone on the net how important a particular concern might be. In my book, that at least counts for something.

I personally believe that Internet petitions of any kind are the most phenomenal waste of time known to humanity.

Hi Bruce and all,

A petition *might* be useful only if it offers real, constructive suggestions rather than just complaining about the current state of affairs. I'm not usually a complainer about JAWS, but, well, I must say, JAWS has been exhibiting some serious reliability issues as of late, and various updates have failed to resolve them.

On the other hand, despite the three screen readers I have on my system, I use JAWS the most while performing my job duties, so I guess that says something as well...
