This is because of the way JAWS 8.0 treats webpages. Not it is using
so-called Document Object Model 9DOM) to render websites - which, I think,
is not a good idea. If FS provided DOM support for rendering websites, then they should have provided a setting or two to use legacy mode which JAWS 7.0
used to use. Yeah, I find this anoying.

  I am very disapointed in Jaws 8.  There are so many sites that I can not
get it to read.  Between telling me there are non-existant attachments to
telling me that buttons are inactive. I have two versions of Jaws close at
hand since Jaws 7 seems to be able to read more things.
