With sighted assistance, I have confirmed that the The reality is that the
screen is split when you bring up the thesaurus with shift F7 in word XP
2003. I have two computers, both running Windows XP and Jaws 6. one
computer is running office Word XP 2002 and the thesaurus comes up as you
arre used to with you being placed in a dialogue box.
My other computer is running Office 2003 word, and sighted help has
confirmed that shift F7 brings up a window on the right side of the screen
with the new layout for the thesaurus. When I press the F6 key I am able to
move the curser focus to the right side pane and jaws announces this. if I
press F6 again, jaws announces I am in the document pane.
