This is what I have found: If you are reading messages in HTML format, then all you have to do is hit the delete key after reading a message. If you are reading messages in plain text then I believe you have to use the control-d combination. The HTML method is faster but the plain text method is more virus-proof. I have read that virus coding can be more easily hidden in HTML format. This is only a rudimentary explanation. Personally, I am now reading using the plain text format. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Glenn Leachier" <lemacher@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "jaws" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 9:59 AM Subject: Jaws 6 and deleting email Hello all, when using jaws 6 along with outlook express on a windows XP = machine while reading a email I can't just hit the delete key to delete = the message and move and open the next message. I have to do a control = along with the letter DO for this to work. Before Jaws 6 I could hit the = delete key and the next email would open just fine. Is there a = Thanks that would correct this. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
