Rose,

Just checking here. If you open norton anti virus you can tab through all
of the links including live updates, options, help, and status?

Thanks, Gary

I have Norton 2004 on this computer and Jaws 5.1 and have none of these
problems. I can get to options, change options, do a live update and
never once use the Jaws cursor. It works as it has always worked.

I did merge settings but I had never made any changes to configurations
for Norton.

Subject: Jaws 5.1 and norton anti-virus

Hello all,

Another lister brought this to my attention and sure enough using jaws
5.1 when you open norton anti-virus and tab through the links several of
them are missing such as live updates and options. They can be found
with the jaws curser but also when I get to any of the groups of radio
buttons for options concerning the handling of viruses in either auto
protect or email scanning the radio buttons are read incorrectly. I saw
this behavior back in jaws 4.51 and it seemed to be corrected in jaws
5.0, but from what I see it's back in jaws 5.1. Again, using jaws 5.1,
windows XP, and norton anti-virus 2003. Is anybody else seeing this
behavior?

Thanks, Gary
