The problem is that I was looking for that options screen, but I didn't find
it. Did I miss something?

Hi. You'll have to run the instalation maintanance from the tools menu and
then when you get to the synthesizers part of the tree view, check dectalk
express. after hitting next once or twice, i believe it is, you will be
asked to choose which synth is the default, so make sure dec express is
your default in the combo box. on the screen that you can set options for
your dec express, simply move the combo box from com 1 to com 4. Then it
should work.
