It's in the archives of this list so please check this sequence of
commands for correctness. Open the IE5-6.jcf file with notepad that file
is under the jaws folder and type IgnoreTransparentSpaces=
this line goes on the line above the line which says [braille]

I'm not sure what problems you are having reading combo boxes
correctly. Make sure Internet Explorer is maximized. Also, make sure to
open the combo box with alt=down arrow. I believe some people have issues
where no items in the box are read. I do not know how to solve that one,
but others do.
