Sometimes when Jaws starts acting eraticly I do something that is less
technical than this but it works if the problem is a once in awhile
situation.
1. I mark the document with three stars (*) where I'm reading.
2. I then go to the top of the documentf
3. I then search for the three stars. When I get to that point I get rid
of the stars and continue reading. Like I said if this is a fluke problem
and happens every now and then this seems to straighten it out. Judith
