Hi,

I never actually considered this, but now I come to think of it it would
be rather difficult. Of course Microsoft could write this nice app,
free with windows, that gave screen readers all they need to know - like
an extention to MSAA, but this wouldn't be a little update.

And so would they post them for window eyes to? They do not use the
same drivers. Also not sure if gw micro or fs would want to go this
route. As I said vcm could be put on the operating system cd and should
be as it is a Microsoft component and is used by other things besides
screen reader. The video intercept no.

Hi,

Technically, they could. However, the video drivers are updated with
every other version of JAWS or so, and so the process of releasing a
Windows Update with the description "Makes Speech Software Work Better"
may seem tedious to Microsoft, and I doubt sighted users would take it
very well.

Couldn't Microsoft put these video intercept drivers or files or
whatever
they are on all their operating systems The sighted people wouldn't
either
know they were there or would be effected by their presents.
