Is your graphics card OK for use with Jaws? Cheers Chris -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of The Scarlet Wombat Sent: 27 March 2007 12:21 To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: JFW not reading combo boxes or desktop This problem just keeps getting stranger. I've consulted with tech support twice and done a repair twice on the 8.0 install I am now using. The worst symptom is in Microsoft Word. I can type a line and do a read line and it is fine, then in a few seconds, it seems to lose its mind and it cannot find the line, acts like there is an empty document unless I arrow back and forth a letter at a time, even a control arrow will not read a word and a say line or read all will produce a blank, up and down arrows cause a beep. When Jaws starts, or restarts, it is fine, but in a few seconds, it seems to lose its mind. This is getting very frustrating, any ideas will be gladly received. Oh, when it is fine, combo boxes, tree views and tabs read correctly, after it goes nutters, none of those things read, either. In any case, when I do a copy or cut, it says nothing selected, even if there are things selected. Something very odd is going on.
