I've never before heard anyone use the term "screen" to mean, not whatever is showing on the screen, but only the application interface, as I believe the term is being used in this example. To me, when I've got a Word file loaded and am working on it, I consider "the screen" to consist of everything that fills it, meaning the text from that file as well as things like the Word menu bar above it and the status linebeneath it. Is this a Jaws-specific bit of vocabulary used to distinguish one screen element from another in regard to Jaws focus? I'm guessing that may be the case. to be, would never ntoher od,?.And ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dean Martineau" <dean@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2006 7:03 AM Subject: Re: JFW keystroke question Insert-b will certainly read the screen, the whole screen and just the screen.
