Thanks for your reply Doug. I was speaking of the contact list. In skype version 3.exe, skype does not read the list in options. In otherwords, the view that goes from general to advanced to sound etc. Jaws reads the info in these dialog boxes, butnot the list view that tells you what section of the dialog you're in. Also there are several places in the program where jaws lands on a link such as in the sound devices section of options there is a link "learn how skype adjusts sound devices". Something along those lines. Jaws activates the link, but it can't identify the controll as a link. So you don't know what you're doing. Where do you keep the scripts for skype now? The only ones I dound worked for versions 1.x

I don't know which list you mean, and I don't remember seeing a
problem like that with Skype 2.  I do see it with Skype 3.  The
"problem," though I hesitate to call it a problem, is that Skype is
becoming more and more accessible without scripts, and as that
happens, some of the scripts start getting in the way.  I am trying to
revise the scripts for 3.0, but I am finding that trying to support
JAWS 4.51 through 8.0 and Skype 2.0 and 3.0 all at once significantly
complicates the process of updating the scripts.  To solve this
problem, I once split the scripts, leaving one set for Skype 1.x and
one for Skype 2.x.  I expect I will split them again for Skype 3.0 for
the same reason.  Time, though, remains a scarce commodity. :)
