Hi Lenny,
Did you try changing the file extension to a .zip?
I haven't had any problems with this method, Most of the time I change any
file extension to a .zip,
and include a note to the recipient, telling them the actual extension,so
they can just change the extension, and not try to unzip it.
Of course, when it comes to computers, not everything works the same for
everyone.
HTH,
Ricque

Hi Ricque,
That does not work. I just had a problem sending my daughter the defrag.exe
file to replace hers. Even changing the name her isp rejected any attachment
with several different mine contents.
I was advised by her isp to create a zip version of the file and there was
no problem. Lenny http://www.geocities.com/lenny_mchugh/

Hi John,
Just change the file extension on that file
for the purpose of e-mailing it.
The recipient can change it back on their end.

it's fixable, look on google for the info, I had that problem for about an
hour and found the fix for it. I got a file that turned something off and it
works fine now, I can't send the file to anyone though because it's a .vbs
file and most people cant' accept those.

Hello folks.

I, too, am a long-time fan and user of SoundBlaster Live cards. However,
however, take care. When putting Jaws 6 on one of my computers the other
day, Eloquence made a rather obscene noise after each word or phrase,
reminding me of something best not discussed here. Try as I might, I was
unable to correct the problem. When calling tech support at FS, the first
thing they asked me was whether or not I was, per chance, running an older
SoundBlaster Live card. I confirmed that I was. They told me that
SoundBlaster was to have upgraded some of their drivers for that card but
hadn't, causing much misery for a lot of folks. I bought another
SoundBlaster, this time the audigy platinum, a lot more than I needed but
fantastic in quality. I still use SoundBlaster Live cards in most of my
machines and have no troubles at all. If you buy a new card, be sure you are
able to return it, not often the case with opened software, in the event you
experience what I and, according to FS, a lot of people do.

All the best.

Jerry
