Re: [JFW] Reading text boxes in Word

The only way I ever found to do it with Jaws is to save it as a html
document.
Then you can enter on the file you create and it will open in your browser
and it will allow you to read any text that was in the text boxes.
You should be able to open the file and go to the file menu and then
enter on the menu item "save as web page". Then just name it and note where
you are saving it and this will create the html file, then just enter on the
html file.

If you don't have that on your menu, just go to the file menu, save as, and
for the file type choose html or htm.

Subject: [JFW] Reading text boxes in Word

Hi!
A classmate sent me a document that has a textbox around it.
Is there anyway to get jaws to read the information?

I am using Jaws 5.0, word 2002
Thanks for your help.
