I used the Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx address, but I'm open to suggestions if there's someone specific we need to contact.

Using eloquence here as well, I just got to work and my systems been on for about 30 minutes and all ready Jaws is up to 34322. I am going to look at it threw out the day and see how far it gets up too, granted I don't have to reboot any.Brian did you send your report to the general email address at fs or is there someone in particular we should be directing this too!----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Hansen" <bc.hansen23@xxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 04, 2007 5:47 AM Subject: Re: JFW 8 & a Possible Memory Leak ProblemEloquence is my default speech synthesizer, so I wouldn't think that would account for the extra memory usage.Blessings, Brian----- Original Message ----- From: "Bobcat" <bobcat11@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 03, 2007 7:23 PM Subject: Re: JFW 8 & a Possible Memory Leak ProblemI am also finding memory usage increasing with Jaws 8. I also see cpu goes from 01 to 15 and back to 01. I see my initial memory usage is around 25000 instead of the 15000 or so that others report. I use Eloquence. I wonder if this makes a difference.I will also report this to FS----- Original Message ----- From: "RAWest" <rawest@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 03, 2007 1:17 PM Subject: Re: JFW 8 & a Possible Memory Leak ProblemI also tried this out and with just hitting the f5 key I found the memoryusage increasing. I am going to unload jaws and restart it and check this out further.----- Original Message ----- From: Brian HansenTo: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, January 03, 2007 1:31 PM Subject: JFW 8 & a Possible Memory Leak Problem I forwarded my problems and findings to FS, and they can't seem to reproduce this. So I'm hoping that one or more of you might be having some of the same symptoms as well.I'm using the latest version of JFW 8, and when I keep repeating the sametasks over and over again, JFW seems to keep growing in memory. For Example: If I start my system from a cold start and have JFW load automatically where I'm at nothing but the desktop, and then hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE andlook at my list of processes, JFW is using 15472K of memory. How ever, ifI exit out of the Task Manager and then go right back in without doing anything else, JFW is now using 15920K of memory. If I repeat this athird time without doing anything else, JFW is now using 16192K of memory. After a fourth time, JFW 8 was reported to be using 16456K of memory.Again, this is without running any other apps, or doing anything else withJFW. During a day of normal use, I've found JFW to be taking up to as much as 60MB. of memory.I'm also finding that if JFW is set to load on startup, then it usuallywants to use a minimum of 2% of my processor resources, but if I launch JFW via my hot key, then it usually reports back 0% resources in use. What got me looking into all of this, is that my system tends to want tobecome a bit more sluggish as the day goes on, and I usually have toreboot the system to correct this problem. I didn't find JFW 7.1 put asmuch of a strain on my system as JFW 8 seems to do, and with a 3.4GHz.Pentium D Dual Core processor, and 2GB. of memory, I wouldn't expect a lot of sluggishness. I know that if I shut down JFW, then the system is a lotmore responsive.
