Hello All:
I am trying to help a client install Sound forge 8.0. She is using JAWS
7.0. When she puts in the Sound Forge Installation CD, all she hears
JAWS say is "Sony Application Setup." According to Dancing Dots where
she bought Sound Forge from, she is supposed to be able to use the up or
down arrow and hear JAWS say "install." She does not hear that. The
instruction tape for installing the Sound Forge program was written for
JAWS 4.5.
Anyway, I had her route her JAWS cursor to PC and try finding the
install button. We turned the PC cursor back on, and I had her hit
"alt-I" to see if that would work. After doing this, we got the "Sony
Application Setup" message again. This time, when we turned on the JAWS
cursor and tried finding a back, next or cancel button, all we found
were graphics with numbers after them. She tried alt-n and just got a
"ding" from the computer.
Has anyone successfully installed Sound Forge 8.0 using JAWS 7? If so,
how did you do it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
