Hi. No no no, it is perfectly all right to put in your authorization cd first.
That's how I did it, and in factthat's how it's done in the JAWS basic 
training.
So it is perfectly ok to do that.  I guess some people on the list don't 
have the auto insert notification turned on.  If you're having trouble 
getting the cd to auto run, all you have to do is type something like, 
d:\setup, where d is your drive letter. obviously if your cd drive is a 
different letter, you would exchange d with the letter for your own drive.
so again, you would type a d or whatever your drive letter is, followed by 
a colon, followed by a back slash, and then the word setup. and then press 
enter and your cd *should* begin to run.
