JFW 5.0, Windows XP OS and numbers with apostrophes

How does one get JAWS to say numbers that have an apostrophe s the correct way?
If I write 20's I want the computer to say twenties. This is especially
annoying when reading weather reports and they say in the 20's or 50's.
Can this be corrected?
