Oh thank god I just filed a report myself and worried it was only me.
I've seen similar behavior of settings not being saved in the inset v
area when invoked when within internet explorer and windows mail.
changed settings involving toggle types are not registering changes here
either. thanks I feel slightly better (smiles).
I always worry when submitting a bug report that it isn't really a bug
but rather some sort of brain freeze on my part (smiles).

As reported to Freedom Scientific in the bug report form, the adjust
options
(jaws key plus v) dialogue in Outlook appears to be quite broken. I
cannot
adjust settings with the space bar. For options with more than two
setting
choices, the space bar toggle appears to only move one choice from the
default. Also, I've found that settings aren't being saved when I hit
enter. There is some overlap with the settings center, but not everything
in the jaws-v dialogue has a counterpart in the settings center.
This behavior is consistent, though sometimes the setting changes seem
to be
honored. An example is setting the top and bottom alerts to play a sound
rather than being silent. This setting works inconsistently on my
machine.
I am using JFW 12 build 413 with Outlook 2007 under Windows XP. I haven't
tested the jaws-v dialogues in other programs like Word or IE.
