Ron,
Are you using any of the Norton security suite products?
If so there is something that you need to uncheck in the Norton setup. I
don't use Norton and don't remember what needs to be turned off, however
somebody else may be able to assist.

Hi all.
I also have an issue with Jaws and Microsoft Word 2003 edition.
When I open a document the machine says co, but there is nothing on the
screen. Then after typing for a few minutes, I cannot read what I have
written.
As for the microsoft updates, don't these come automatically with Windows
updates?
