Re: JAWS not saying letter f while backspacing in Outlook Express

I find this interesting:
I send messages in plain text and hear blanks when back-spacing over the letter
f whether doing a new message or replying to an existing one.
Now, I read messages in html format and this is when I hear the letter f as it
should be so it would seem to be a link between html and plain text as to
whether f is said or not while back-spacing over it.
I would imagine that if I had "read messages" set to plain text that I would
hear blank when back-spacing over the letter f.

This is a royal pain to do, but have any of you tried to do a Jaws repair?
I just can't understand why blanking out a letter with the backspace would
not be announced.
And, it's only that one letter. I was even entertaining the thought that it
could be a font setting, but for only one letter? I'm stumped. Jack
